I was wondering in your last post whether we were talking about the same thing. So to be clear: Downloading updates/patches users get two options 1) Download it the traditional way OR 2) Download it via Stardock Central That's how it was for GalCiv I. You can still go to the GalCiv I site, click downloads and get it either way 3 years later: http://www.galciv.com/download.asp What Stardock Central does is give ONE additional option: The ability to download the ENTIRE game, no matter where you bought it. So if you go to CompUSA, buy GalCiv II and then, 3 years later, you lose the CD or it gets ruined somehow or whatever, you can load up Stardock Central, and use your serial # to download the entire latest/greatest version of the game as a giant ZIP file which you can then burn to CD, put on your laptop, etc. Brad -- Brad Wardell Project Manager: Galactic Civilizations II (www.galciv2.com) Stardock - http://www.stardock.com > > -- > Lucian
