RESIDENT EVIL:
When fighting Tyrant for the umpeenth time while a helicopter circles
and having almost given up hope that you will never win when...a
rocket launcher gets tossed down to you. I remember going from
hopelessless (and being pissed off that this game was unbeatable)...to
WOOT! Tyrant you're dead!

SERIOUS SAM:
The Great Pyramid - Final Run. Right after you've defeated thousands
of baddies and the 30 story tall Demon begins marching up on where you
are, smashing buildings to pieces. Then you have to run, shooting all
the while as you race him to the pyramid, while overhead, the UFO
arrives.
It was one of the only times I truly felt anxious and excited in a
video game. So much going on at once - as well as music that fit the
mood.

SONIC 3 & KNUCKLES:
When you change from Sonic to Super Sonic, and then finally Hyper
Sonic! and chase through space after Robotnik and the Master Emerald.

LEGEND OF ZELDA - LINK TO THE PAST:
When you first pull free the Master Sword - what a good feeling!

FREESPACE 2:
Racing for the Jump Node as the sun goes Supernova. That was fun.
