Oh, allright. Dungeon Master on the Atari. I'm sitting in my friend's house and he says "Oh, it's a new game, watch this !" He killed a mushroom monster, then picked up a piece of it and ATE it ! He then picked up another piece and clicked in the middle of the screen. The piece left the cursor and flew down the corridor, until it hit a wall with a THUD. I remember thinking "Oh my God..." IIRC, it was my first real-time, first person RPG. After that, the Gold-box games just weren't the same... Meeting the marines in Half-Life I ran down the corridor, and peeked through the railings. A group of human soldiers were below me. We spotted each other, and I ran back into cover. I switched to the SMG and reloaded it. I ran back to where I spotted them thinking "Ah, another easy kill." As I got to the spot where I'd been, a hand grenade sailed over the balony and rolled to a stop at my feet. I was paralysed, and just stared at it. My last thought was "Well, THAT's something that's never happened in a game before..." -- Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes ! They got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses ! And what's with all the carrots ? What do they need such good eyesight for anyway ? Bunnies ! Bunnies ! It must be BUNNIES !
