There is no reason in the world why you should need a 3d card to play
TOAW. As for Panzer Commander, I think that any well supported Direct
3d capable card should do. I have a Diamond Stealth II S220 4mb card
which I recently got for only $40.00. It outperforms my Canopus Pure 3d
6mb 3dfx card in Panzer Commander.

Unless you're very seriously interested in flight sims, action games, or
other graphically intense games, my advice would be to by any of the
Voodoo 1 cards which are now coming down in price due to the release of
the Voodoo 2. The Voodoo 1 cards (Diamond Monster, Canopus Pure 3d,
Orchid Righteous 3d) all give very good (although no longer top of the
line) performance, wide compatibility, and all at a price that's hard to
beat right now.

If you're not a big simmer or action gamer, I'd say just get the Diamond
Stealth II that I have. Diamond seems to be unloading them for a song,
and they provide alot of Direct 3d capability for 3d games that support
that and very good "2d" performance (for things like TOAW).

Just my two cents.
