Act Labs makes a device called the PowerRamp. Has a joystick "knob"
controller on it with lots of programmable buttons. Hard to order one
if you can't find it at a local store. The online ordering site they
prefer you to order from is pretty pathetic as far as service (had one
of their PowerRamp Mite gamepads on order for couple months before
giving up on it).

Their website (http://www.actlab.com) doesn't seem to be functioning
anymore either.
