As it stands Europe has a faster growing market and is still the same wealth of talent that took many of our guys out to the US. The question is why do US companies think it is reasonable to alienate European market openers? Could it be that the gap between the Develpment teams and the Marketing teams is so great that the Developers are out of touch with their market? ;-) Seriously, with established Distribution channels in Europe I fail to see why none-Euro Developers treat us with this apparent contempt. Would it be SO difficult or expensive to set up a channel to supply product and glean feedback? What are the concerns? Tell us and let us apply our agile minds to the concerns. I think we can satisfy all of them. As a Beta Tester I have 'discoevered' many major problmes the US testers missed. It is not thier fault. They don't always have the same mix of product and software. Often the feedback I have given has been catalytic in finding the real root cause of a problme which had eluded the US guys. The differences in set up can sometimes cause a problme to manifest itself differently, and the difference gives the clue as to the root problem. As for secrecy, are we to be less trusted? How often have you met your US Testers personally? Do your REALLY know them well enough to trust them?
