I agree, monkeying around with your autoexec.bat and config.sys is what you
DON'T want to do.   If it hangs on startup, it's probably sound card issues..


If you already have and you are gettings memory error messages, try running
memmaker in ms-dos mode and save the settings for use by this program only.
Theres a way to create specific autoexec and config.sys settings for a
particular process. (But you really shouldn't need to do this)
