Sorry if this is a repeat. I think one got lost.
Check out a FREE demo of "X-Sums 98". It has 12 free Cross Sums
puzzles that you can solve on-line or print them out and solve them off-line.
The full version can generate more puzzles of the same quality as the
puzzles in the demo than you could use in a lifetime - unless, of course,
you let the computer solve them!!! 8x10 and up. 3 difficulty levels.
On my 100MHz:
Puzzle generation takes a few moments to usually less than a minute
for about 16x16, More Difficult puzzle. 8x10 puzzles are too fast!
31x23 Easier puzzles are reasonably fast...31x23 More Difficult
puzzles can take 10 minutes to 1/2 hour and sometimes more, but
they take me days to solve. (That's the largest size that fits on my
printer.) Divide times by 4 on today's fastest computers!!!
You can find more computer-generated puzzles by us in one of the
major puzzle magazines dating as far back as at least a few years.
Look for Tom and Nancy Westbom as the author!
