 I would like to see a game for competitive sailing similar to MS Flight
Simulator.  What I am thinking of is a game that has everything from
one-design racing (Laser, I420, Lightning, Comet, etc.) to cruising to
round-the-world, Whitbred-type racing.  Like Flight Simulator you could
import new hulls, race courses, geographic areas, etc.  In this game you
could race against computer opponents or race against other virtual
sailors on the net.  You could also learn the techniques of safe
cruising including night sailing and weathering a storm.  As a possible
extension there could be sailing of big racing boats where you must work
with your crew as a team taking into account fatigue, crew weight,
experience, etc.
