Alone in the Dark - Now What?

Well.... I've gotten to a point where I can't figure out what to do next. How do you kill the purple guy in the library? I read that you can't get past the worm in the tunnels. I have found two entrances to the tunnels. In one entrance, the worm is right in from of me. In the other entrance, I run past the worm. Then he crawls around back to the end of the tunnel to block off the next room. Anyone out there have any suggestions on what to do here? Thanks, Doug Poirier

There is a curvy dagger in there that kills the purple guy... After the worm slithers past go back to where he was. There is a new place to go to there...

This book can be popped into an open space in one of the bookshelves, which will trigger a mechanism and open the wall. Enter, and the vagabond canot follow. There are 3 daggers in there. If I remember correctly, the wavy one (the malasian Kris) will kill the vagabond, as described in one of the documents you find elsewhere in the house. When you go into the catacombs, do not use the tunnel that is behind the barrels. Use the one in the locked room off the cigar room. When you put the saber in the decoration on the wall it triggers a mechanism and the desk swings aside. 'Nuff for now... - Bob
