I'm not sure if this is the right place for this game to be talked about, but since its based on D&D and you sort of have to do a little adventuring, I figured I'd post here. For those of you who haven't played it yet, it is more of a stradegy game than adventure. Take for instance the board game Axis and Allies. It has many parallels to this game. There is a world layed out in countries. You have military units of all sorts. And there are added in features like casting spells on neighboring enemies to destroy their troops and buildings. So anyways, the purpose of this post is to possibly start up some conversation with other people about the game and trade some hints on how to play. As far as I can see, the game is equivilent in skill to that of Civilization and easily just as fun. So if you were doubtful whether or not to get this game and you like stradegy/conquest games like Axis and Allies or Civilization, you should definitely get this game. Please feel free to reply/follow up/or refer me to where I can talk about Fantasy Empires. Thanks, Geoff Simons gsi...@ux4.cso.uiuc.edu

Try rec.games.strategic - there's been some discussion of it there. -- "The power of this battlestation is _insignificant_ when compared with the power of the Farce." - D. Vader.
