Hi Guys GOG has campaign going. Took a short break to browse, and spotted Sanitarium for 1.59 ! That's my next project. Lots of other familiar titles were only $2-3-4 apiece, but honestly speaking, didn't feel like buying more for only cheap prices. Want to have an interesting story too.

If I recall correctly, that was the first game that I ever finished. Although the beginning really bugged me. Chuck

Want to have an interesting story too. Pretty cheap price but like you say even for cheap price, you want the game to be interesting to you. I played Sanitarium years ago when it first came out. I've never replayed it. It was just an OK game, but for $1.59, you can't beat the price if you think you will be interested in the game. I am playing Tesla Effect which I find very difficult at times, a lot of going to various places. I am using 2 walkthroughs but some puzzles or tasks are still hard to get past. I started Dreramfall Chapters and stuck already near the start. The interface is hard to get used to. Mary --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! While impressive in size and (rather so) visually, I couldn't help thinking that whole segment was borrowed from some other project. Frequent dying for accidental or even random things, such as buzzing wasps, got quite tiresome, and pixel hunting aspect in an adventure game was never that high on my list in the first place. >I started Dreramfall Chapters and stuck already near the start. >The interface is hard to get used to. I will let it pass for a while - Werner's reports of initial bugs made me decide to wait for patches to come tut. Moreover, price will probably be down about 10bucks by X-mas or so, I am looking for ~15$ range.

SPOILER SPACE Do you mean Sesen and Incubation? The part with the darkness and dark figures with flashlights appearing and you frequently die.Very annoying part. It took me a long time to get past that- even with a walkthrough you still have to navigate your way through. I don't remember buzzing wasps. Dying, timed puzzles or tasks in games are the worst in my view, along with pixel hunting. I am on day 7. Did you use a walkthrough? I am using 2 but still get stuck and have to find my own way out of certain situations. Are you finished the game? I am probably three quarters through -it's slow going - so many things to do. If I wasn't stuck as often. I would like to have had more interaction with the characters on Chandler Ave. I haven't seen them since early in the game. >>I started Dreramfall Chapters and stuck already near the start. > >The interface is hard to get used to. > > I will let it pass for a while - Werner's reports of initial bugs > made me decide to wait for patches to come tut. I am probably stuck because I can't figure out how to interact with one of the first characters in the game. Yes, wait till around Xmas or maybe even before, and Dreamfall Chaps could be on sale. Gog quite often has good specials on weekends and Steam might have it on sale. Mary --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Antivirus protection is active. http://www.avast.com

You will know for certain once you get there :) Mines on the floor, buzzing wasps, energy bolts, zombies, giant spiders, you name it. Dozens of ways to die :) Yup will look into Chapters this evening. I am only one star away of claiming a freebie from autumn sale so I will be checking in there anyway :) Cheers !! --- avast! I am probably three quarters Yes I hve finished the game. However I bought it pretty much at once it got out in May, so there were really no walkthrus available at the time. Did consult the in-game hint system but nothing outside. IIRC your progess is close to reaching the Institute, but that segment is really all another game in itself. The Institute is HUGE and has several subgames in it. BTW IMHO it does not fit in with the rest of the game, so I repeat my previous statement - it is as if it is borrowed from whole another 1st person sneaker/shooter project altogether. Now gotta hit the road. A meeting with client in Turku is waiting. Cheers !! --- avast! Antivirus käynnissä, joten tässä sähköpostiviestissä ei ole viruksia tai haittaohjelmia. http://www.avast.com

Dozens of ways to die :) I just came to the Institute part soon after I emailed you yesterday. I have done a few things, but this part looks more complicated than the part I just got out of. Haven't seen any buzzing wasps yet, but maybe I have that to look forward to yet :( >Yup will look into Chapters this evening. You did much better than me if you only used the in-game hint system as sometimes it was quite vague but was more helpful other times. I still had to use 2 walkthroughs - 2 places in the game took me quite a long time to get past. > IIRC your progess is close to reaching the Institute, but that segment is really all another game in itself. At The Institute there is so much to do. Sometimes the game is quite interesting, other times it's tedious and takes a while to move ahead. I've got mixed feelings about the game so far. --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Antivirus protection is active. http://www.avast.com

Yes, you should wait. It will be cheaper at some point or on sale. I thought you meant you meant you got stars and eventually could buy Chapters cheaper. Wouldn't that be nice? :) Mary > Cheers ! --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Antivirus protection is active. http://www.avast.com
