I understand there is an auto-save feature but is there also just a 'Save' feature if we feel the need to save the game ourselves? If so, how is it done?

Plus, either their 'save and exit' feature isn't working or I'm missing something important. At the beginning of the game, I rescued and spoke to the falling girl. She left. Then, I went to 'save and exit to desktop' but when I loaded the game today I needed to save the girl all over again! UGH! Very disheartening. Can anyone enlighten me? (That's one reason I like a

As far as I understood only savepoints are available. I have not seen
the dedicated save.

Yes it reverts to the last savepoint. In the beginning of every dreamers
mission is one savepoint. The beginning sort of is the intro tutorial
which introduces you gently to the game mechanics.

Seriously, I have to save the falling girl AGAIN! LOL! Seems like a poor design because sometimes 'real life' makes you quit the game suddenly. I can't believe this can happen again and again. Makes me wonder what the purpose of the 'save and quit' game option is then??

Ok seems like the 1.1 patch is out now for the Mac, it has fixed my
crashing problems, I finally can play the game.
Also the windows version of the patch is coming soon, it will address
some performance issues in Europolis.

Finished Book 1 now 5 hours of playing time, given that it will be 5
books not to shabby.
Also heads up regarding the bugs, version 1.1.1 out now nailed most if
not all bugs. The framearates in Europolis are definitely fine with my
PC giving me 30-60fps there and my Mac also chugging along at 20-30 fps.
Controller support also has been fixed, even Steam inhouse streaming now
works with a controller. I have not had a single crash on 1.1.1.

I'm curious where/how do you see your frame rates during the game? I have an Alienware computer and never had a problem but I would be interested to see the data.

Thanks!

There are various framerate counters on the net, NVidia for instance has
one in the GeForce experience integrated. In my case I just was guessing
from personal experience.
If you encounter micro stuttering then you have less than 20fps, with
30fps it becomes fluid and with 60fps it is super fluid. But I can run
the GeForce xperience for instance to see the actual numbers, but it was
running fluid to super fluid on my system on the 1.1.1 patch.
