Mick, was I supposed to save Part-1? I automatically deleted the game
when I finished playing and now see that 1 & 2 are combined in the
download. Does that mean I have to play Part-1 all over again?

Mick, where is Broken sword 5 part 2 available? I don't see anything about
it on STeam where I downloaded part 1.
I thought BS 5 part 2 was to be available most places on Apt. 22. Since
you're in Britain is parrt 2 out there right now?
Yes, nice to see a mini golden age going on in adventure games for a
change.:)

Mary

No it will just start off where the other one finished.

Hold that thought. It appears they released parts 1 and 2 together as one game
yesterday and not part 2 separately so you will most likely need a save from the
end of
the first ep. I'm going to have to have a look to see if I kept my saves, I
don't fancy playing
the full thing again either. I havent actually bought the game yet. I'm still
playing Moebius.

If you find a saved end-game file, would you be willing to share it
with me should I need it to avoid replaying part-1? Like you, I left
the two of them atop a burning building; I had fun getting to that
point but, I think, not enough fun to do it over again. Maybe in a few
years . . .

Nevermind. It seems that either I failed to uninstall the saved games
or that the game creative team knew there would be people like me and
inserted a default 'save' in the package! :)

When first running the game, the option to 'Continue' is present. When
I selected it, the game opened just a step or two back from where I
had left it when finished.

What a relief! I downloaded it from GOG and am so happy to be playing
this colorful, light-hearted game again.
Thanks.

A headsup from latest dev update:
"Episode 2 is a free update for those have Episode 1 on PC/Mac/Linux.
Because of this you will need to continue the game from the last save - if
you no longer have a save game then let us know at support@revolution.co.uk
and we will send you one.

We are hearing reports that the GoG version is not running correctly from
Episode 1 into Episode 2, and that the Mac version is yet to be made
available. We are working with GoG to try and resolve these problems - we
apologise for the delay. "
