Do you know when the second half of the game will be finished? I think I
would rather get both episodes at the same time, but if I wanted to get the
first half, where would I apply to get it?

"The success of our Kickstarter appeal has allowed us to be hugely
ambitious – the game will be released as two action-packed episodes. Each
episode is a full sized game in its own right, which we will publish in
close succession.

The first part of the game will debut on Windows / Mac / Linux through
Steam, GOG.com, and Revolution’s own website store on December 4th, with a
PlayStation Vita version to follow later in the month. The concluding part
of the game will be published on PC in January 2014. iOS and Android
versions will follow shortly after each PC episode"

Unfortunately they missed the stretch goal of Beneath a Steel Sky 2
slightly, so this won´t see the light of day unless they find another
way to fund it (maybe another kickstarter), but at least
the other stretch goals were met, so Broken Sword 5 becomes way bigger
than originally planned.

I didn't know they were thinking of a Beneath a Steel sky 2 game. The first
game was a long time ago now. It wasn't a bad game as I recall.
