Hello, I've been able to begin work on an editor for save games for
this game. So far, I can change the number of people in each army,
map symbols, character sprites, locations of armies, destroy and
create armies, etc.

Had anyone been able to decipher any of the resource files such as the
aanims.res, bscene, etc. I'm looking to incorporate this info into my
editor.

Also, if anyone is interested in my SaveGame editor, let me know. IT
is a work in progress.

Check out my site:

Hello,

before years I started something very similar. It would be nice to hear from you. I'd like to help you with your project.
