Happy New year and best wishes to all for 2011. Hope to see more posts about new adventure games coming out (I hope) in the new year. ;) Mary

Happy New Year to you too, MaryJ. :)
I hardly play any adventure games nowadays which is why I'm not around
here much. Though I did recently play 'In Cold Blood' (circa 2000 from
the makers of Broken Sword) and thoroughly enjoyed it, although it was
a mixture of action/adventure.

Nice to see you again Murray. Hope we will get some new adventure games released soon. Most of the new games that do come out are made in the UK and Europe and have to be imported or downloaded such as "Gray Matter" which was finally released. I played Whispered World and "Everlight" recently and they were quite good. No action, timed sequences or dying but its getting impossible even in software stores in Toronto to find any PC games except action/combat and not even many of them. Console games are more popular. I've found that most times you seem to have to buy PC games online now. How did you do selling the games you had for sale a while back? Mary

I liked a few action/adventures such as American McGee's Alice and "Realms of the Haunting".They don't make them like that any more. There aren't many adventure games to play now, but some come out now and then like Gray Matter, the Jane Jensen one. I haven't heard much about it. Its not available in Canada or the U.S. You can download it and buy it I think, but its expensive. Black Mirror 2 and 3 are out but not in stores where I am. Have to buy them online somewhere. Same with the Secret Files 2 game. Hope to see you again sometime. :) MaryJ (in old times)
