Has anyone here heard of "Heavy Rain"? I think its only on the PS3 for now - 
im in the middle of a video review of it, its saying its an adventure game 
but im a little off topic because its not a pc game, maybe it will be 
converted to pc.

now that ive seen more of the review it seems to be simmilar to a movie game 
like "Dragons Lair" with adult content ie graphic violence and harsh 
language.
I cant play it yet not because I dont own it but because the heafty price to 
replace a lamp in my projector, does anybody know if this game is anything 
like an adventure game or is it just another action console game with 
mystery elements?

Heavy Rain is hardly new, it's been out now for almost a year I think.  But
if not for the fact it's for PS3 only I would have probably gotten it on
account of some of the reviews I read at the time.

It's made by Quantic Dream, developer of Omikron (which I loved) and Indigo
Prophecy (not much love for this one, aka Farenheit) and supposedly a much
better game than both.  It's definitely not an action game and definitely
not for kids, the parts I've seen at a friend's house reminded me of IP
without the lame Simon Says mini games -- an interactive murder mystery
movie of sorts.   Here's hoping it will come out for the PC eventually.

I doubt it will, Sony like to keep their exclusives to themselves. ;)
PS3 is a worthy system for that very reason though, I reckon. (I have
not picked it up yet, but definitely looks my kind of game)
