Alone in the Dark - Demo - help

I got the "alone2.dem" demo from an ftp site, and it runs fine. But it starts in a hedge maze, and I keep getting killed by the guys with the guns. I've found a flask, a satchel, and a loading clip. But what do I do next? I just keep getting killed... Thanks, Russell (gil...@esd.dl.nec.com)

Search for a man with only one leg. Kill him and go past him to free a child. Then the demo will be finished.
