Quest for Glory V: Is anyone interested in this game?

I've played all the other Quest for Glory games and I really liked them, so I'm pretty excited about Quest for Glory V. Unforunately, I haven't heard much about the game. CGW recently had a "100 hot new games" feature, and failed to even mention Quest for Glory V even though they stated in the article that there aren't too many adventure games in development. So what's going on? Is this game going to be terrible? Or have gamers just lost faith in Sierra because of buggy products like Red Baron 2 and Lords of Magic? Neither of these are adventure games, so I don't see why people should be worried. Chris

I've been plugging away with a relatively low-end P-150 for a little over a
year now, and I was thrilled to see how well the demo for QG5 ran when I
tried it out a week ago. I wasn't so thrilled, mind you, with Sierra's
heavy-handed approach to installation ("We'll insist that you install the
demo in this particular directory, and here are some other lovely demos for
completely unrelated commercial services, and pardon the mess while we dick
around with your Start menu, and..."), and the keyboard-based controls were
pretty dreadful, and I have no idea how Sierra thinks that they'll be able
to get a workable multiplayer game out of the thing, but as far as the
engine itself goes, I haven't been this impressed with an adventure game in
years. There aren't nearly enough games that dabble with 3D graphics that
handle anywhere near this well.
Plot-wise, who knows? It looks like yet another Ultima-style go-here-do-
this-go-there-do-that sort of game, but how many adventure games don't end
up being like that?
This, folks, is insightful commentary.

I'm still mad at them for not including EITHER of the Gabriel Knights in the Hall of Fame. IMO they BOTH belong there. Red Baron 2 is now a wonderful, wonderful game. And I'm highly anticipating QFGV. The new screenshots are astounding, leaps and bounds better than the rather horrid graphics in the tech demo. And I heard the interface is much more intuitive. I think it'll be worth the wait. And wait we will. Date has now been pushed back to November. Grimfarrow

I am really waiting for this game!! I have been a fan of the series for
many years now (although I found out about the series after number 3
came out, so that's not so long time ago), and have been anticipating
for QFGV ever since I heard it was in production.
As for the game, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best.
I played the demo of the game - graphics and audio marvellous, controls
quite lame. They are going to tweak it all up for the actual game (with
mouse controlled movement and spell casting etc.), so this *might* be
THE game...
Check out the latest of the game at its website at www.qg5.com

Do you know if the Hero is going to be any bigger in the full version? He was a little bitty thing in the demo....I was really disappointed, cause you couldn't see him very well. I started the sneak peek on a 486 and I ran like a baby (is that an American
