I'm not sure how much stuff you have done in the chapter but my first
question would be: Have you killed a certain person that you bumped into
up north of the town that your uncle whatshisname lives (I forget the names).

If you have done that..have you finished the kahooli (sp?) quest?
If you have done that..Have you entered the waterfall???

I don't want to give too much away but that should start you on your way..

Have you gone to the waterfall dungeon?  You need a chess piece to 
enter.  The piece is in a well in a very close to the waterfall.  Also 
you have to kill the Nighthawk leader, which means talking to the priests 
of Lims-Kragma at their nearby temple.

I believe that if you fullfill the Kahooli quest (hunger is easiest) then you
will find out some secret information about the Nighthawk leader..like who 
he is!  To fullfill the quest just drop all your food outside the temple and
camp until you are hungry (overnight should do it) then enter the temple.
Chapter 3 ends in the waterfall (in the room you haven't been able to get into) 
so be sure to save before you enter the room...BTW there is a hell of a fight
in that room if I remember correctly..I believe you need the Final Rest spell
or don't bother entering!

I am also having trouble with Chapter 3.  I've been to the waterfall dungeon,

I apparently wasn't paying too close attention to the Kahooli instructions.  
I was trying to solve all of the quests before I went into to temple.  I did 
the hunger thing, and the rest of chapter 3 was a breeze.

One weird thing though, I lost a spell when I went to chapter 4.  I no longer
have StarFire.  This happen to anyone else?

I did not encounter a single enemy in that room. I went through the whole 
cavern, killed everyone, found out I couldn't get into that room, then went
to get the key. Went back, and no one was left in the whole cavern, including
this room. For other who get to this room, give all your good stuff to Gorath
and Owyn, because James leaves, with all HIS stuff.

Hi....

I've noticed all these messages about the next chapters and I feel not 
worth of playing this game... *grin*  I've been playing it for a couple days
and I'm stuck on chapter *gasp* 2.... :{  I just can't seem to get a guilder
to get into that town starting with an R.... :}  I've gone back to that one
town that they said there were some people trying to do stuff, but I've
found NOT ONE PERSON to help me out and give me a guilder... 

Though, I've spent more time writing an editor for this game than playing it
I would like to get through chapter 2 without creating the item in my
inventory... :}  

Btw, that was a major clue... :}  Editor for Krondor will be available like
in a week or so...  when I've finished up playing around with what I can
do in the game...

Krondor. Yeah, that was it. Go all the way to the southeast, and I think in
some barn, you will kill some guards, and then you will find these things you
need.

I have had wierd things happen here and there...I usually just restore
and redo whatever I was doing and it USUALLY doesn't occur twice...
But there are those little things called....bugs... out there waiting for
the most inconvenient times to surface...A byte editor is how I solved 
some of the bugs that wouldn't go away.

Thats true, but you will see a few new characters thru the next chapters, and 
you will also see the old characters as well, so don't give everything to
one character, it may help you out in one chapter but cripple you in the next!

I assume that you are referring to the guild stamp?  I haven't played for a 
while and the details for each chapter seem to blend together after a while..
but I remember talking to someone who referred me to Michael Waylander..
(or something close to that) and on the way, I found some guild stamps in 
a barn. (the term guild stamp may be incorrect but that's what it looks like
on the screen.)  I think if you find MW, that will help you out.
