At one point about five or six years ago I played a clone of the old-style
Ultima games from Origin. I'm quite fond of that style of game and was
wondering if anybody knows of any that exist as shareware or freeware? Old or
relatively new; it doesn't matter, I'd just like to play them.

Thanks.

Mike.

Hey Mike!

Download Exile II. Just started messing around with it- looks amazing.
Someone posted about the really intricate plot. Huge game. Am
considering playing the first Exile but can't decide . . .

There are lots of shareware "Ultima Clones" out there. Try my page:
Age of the Mystics at: http://www.dynamic-web.com/software/coolh20

Some say Ultizurk III is one of the best clones.
You might also try Exile I & II, but there are many more on the page.
