When I try to give the the log the rotten tomato he won't take.   How do I 
get him to take it?  Thanks in advance

	You are probably playing in large screen mode, right?  I had lots
o'problems clicking on things in this mode.  It was like the tolerances for
mouse positioning were too tight.  So I reduced the game to small screen mode
using the system box in the upper left hand corner of the window whenever I had
problems picking something up or activating something.

The whole sequence starts by you trying to get some swamp ooze yourself by
