LOL Hi Paula, so you thought Holmes in Rose Tattoo sounds like Vincent Price? I don't remember thinking that when I played Rose Tattoo. I've played it a few times. Holmes in Rose Tattoo had a strongm vert obvious English accent. Vincent Price is American born, but travelled in Europe a lot when he was young. He went to Yale. I must admit though, he never sounded like any other American actor I've ever heard. He had a very distinctive, refined way of talking, which could resemble some English accents to some degree. I loved the way he talked and could listen to him for hours. He was a very good actor. The movie I liked him best in was "House of Wax", but he made a lot of good movies. Mary
