7th Guest, from Virgin (The Company With The Perpetual BUSY Signal) has
the most astounding multimedia effects ever. The live action samples and
3D rendering of the inside of the mansion, where the story takes place,
are stunning. The quality of the audio and video of this game are
unparralleled anywhere!

However, the game is painfully tedious and I was completely bored with it
after about 2 days. The monotony of watching the stunning video and
listening to the bloody astounding audio EVERY time you round or corner,
or EVERY time you're trying to solve a puzzle was maddening. The puzzles
were ludicrous, and the game play was dreadfully dull and unimaginitive.
I sold mine to a friend, and never have missed it.

The producers of 7th guest threw everything into a multimedia orgastic
explosion, and succeeded! However, to sit down and actually *play* the
game left me either frustrated at the tedium of the multimedia blitz or
yawning at the drab game play.
