I've been having a helluva time finding PC games that don't require so much base memory that they are unusable! I recently purchased Return To Zork and Lands Of Lore (from Virgin: the company offering a tech support number that is continuously busy) and had to take them back due to the fact that they are base memory pigs. The packaging for Lands Of Lore was even misleading in that they didn't admit that the program needed 590K base memory. You have to open the box and read through all the docs. I've tried making boot diskettes that only load MSDOS and my mouse driver (yes, I've run memmaker) and these games always need a couple K more! Are there any good games out there that use some kind of small loader program then run everything out of XMS or EMS? I've just about given up trying to find a good quality adventure game that uses a reasonable amount of base memory. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike Golobay da...@feenix.metronet.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------
