I upgraded to the works, pentium 4 2ghz pc, 15,000 rpm scsi drives, and a
geforce 3 card.

Here are the specs

intel pentium 4 2ghz cpu
intel d850md motherboard
visiontek geforce 3 card
1 gb rd ram
Adaptec 29160 scsi adapter
2 seagate cheetah 15,000 rpm ultra 160 drives (18.4 gig each)


I put the system together and repeatedly tried to run windows 98 on it. I
even went out and picked up a copy of ME to try that and the same results,
games crashing, 3dmark crashing at dragothic high detail, Yes I installed
all of the latest MB drivers and it was giving me the same thing. I decided
to try windows 2000 and guess what? It works perfectly, not a single crash,
5920 on 3dmark 2001..runs great. I still feel funny having windows 2k as my
gaming platform though, Do you guys have any recommendations to get the
above working in win 98 SE? Please let me know, thx - Chris
