Hi Rudi, How well I remember the old days with the infamous autoexec.bat and
config.sys tweaking evrything you find to get enough conventiional memory to
run your game. My first computer years ago was a 286 with 1 MB memory and I
think a 16 mhz CPU and I thought that was very good as it could run most
games of the time except it was a struggle running Kings quest 5? I think it
was. If you remember the bakehouse in that game, I thought I would never get
out of there, the game ran so slow.

I was never an Ultima fan, but good you got it at a good price. A big
difference in price on Gog than what you paid for the original price way
back.
Are you going to play Grim Fandango? I played it when it first came out. It
was a good game but very awkward interface as I recall. It is supposed to be
different in the new version which just came out. It was on for special
price not long ago. I may get it later. Did you ever play "Night of the
Rabbit"? I thought it was a good game. a bit tedious at times, but I liked
it. I finished it a while ago but played it again a few days ago. I
sometimes play my old games.

Mary
