I take it you're a novice and you're looking for an easier game to
introduce yourself to Infocom. Wishbringer is an excellent start that
will have you graduating to Zork in no time. It contains most of the
basic skills needed in the other, more involved games.

My favorite on that disk is Trinity, but it is difficult. Well worth
playing once you get your sea legs.

For a completely different experience, Nord and Bert is more a wordplay
game, and A Mind Forever Voyaging is more a freeform experiment than a
goal-driven game (though you can still win, sort of). You may or may not
like AMFV, it's a love-hate sort of game.

Suspended is very interesting as well, but also very hard. You actually
control robots to do your bidding in that game, and you can almost
imagine that you are the controller in his suspension chamber. For
Sci-Fi, Planetfall is probably the easiest regular level game. Starcross
is just brutal.

Enjoy them all. One last note: The mystery game Deadline is probably the
most terrible as far as difficulty goes, IMHO.
