Thanks for the suggestion. It's cool to hear from you. I was recently, as in
just 2 or 3 days ago, researching how to get "Frotz" to run in my Windows 7 x64
environment, and I ran across your name while looking over the "blorb" file
specs. The only reliable version for Windows 7 x64 is Frotz 2002 (WinFrotz has
quirks) and it needed blorb files for games like Zork Zero. I had been using
WinFrotz previously.

I found no tools (that I could use, I did find a perl script) for converting
mg1 to blorb, but I did find that someone had the files available for download.

In the end, though, I scrapped Frotz 2002 and went with an original MSDOS Frotz
binary I had in mothballs, run through DOSbox. Is anyone in the community
working on a version of Frotz newer than "Frotz 2002?" Or did everyone else
reach the same conclusion as I: easier to just emulate xxDOS, then use orginal
z-interpreters or DOSFrotz?

Back to your comment, I check into the IF Competition now and then, but not
every year. On-and-off, I've been playing Magnetic Scrolls' "Wonderland," but I
haven't had the time lately. If I could get my s__ together, I'd probably fire
up Adrift and write something for the competition.
