I think I know exactly what game you were talking about, and I've been wracking me brain about it too. If we're thinking of the same game, it was a point-and-click game like Monkey Island, had cartoony graphics, and the knights all had different powers you had to use to solve the puzzles. I remember one of the knights could turn into a tornado. I really hope there's some development on if you can find it, because my brother and I have been obsessing about it for a couple of weeks now.
