But I do think it's fair comment. Yes, it is. The part of Virgil, which was the boy you mention, was poorly done considering that Holmes and Watson and others were so good (In my view at least). Queen Victoria was not well done either, and I did mention that above. But on the whole, I found it to be one of the best games I've ever played. > However, there was one puzzling feature about the game - it was based on > a central misconception - Mycroft Holmes was not a government minister, > as the game's developers seemed to think. What position did Mycroft have in Rose Tattoo? Also, I can't remember him being mentioned in Silver Earring. I am not at the end of the game yet, but close to it. By the way, I think the acting in Rose Tattoo is a lot better than the acting of Wiggins and Watson and Lestrade in Silver Earring. Holmes in Silver Earring also took me a while to get used to. He sounded very pompous and too uppity, earlier in the game, but he seems to have improved as he went along. Not as good as the Holmes in Rose Tattoo though :) - he was more realistic sounding especially when he was a bit irritated with Lestrade and Watson. Still, I liked Silver Earring quite well. I am glad to have played it. I only had trouble with that one timed sequence in the forest. It took me a long time go get through it. Did it take you a while? Mary
