I'm at approximately the same place you are (without the crash).  Using
the broom will reveal a set of three runes similar to those found on the
Brotherhood of Thule card in your case file.  They will be jotted down
in your notebook for further reference, but I don't think you need them
for a while.  Have you been to see Mulhaven at the hotel yet?  Have you
gotten the Pensky file from the FBI man yet?  If not, you can do both of
these without the dusting the floor.  That should take a little bit of
time.  

Have you figured out how to use the key on the drawer?  This is where
I'm stuck.  I think I know whats in the drawer but I can't figure out
how to unlock it.  If you know, please let me know!
