Descent 1.4 (S) can't setp up my AWE 32

Windows 95 has set up my AWE 32 to 220 IRQ=10 DMA=3 HDMA=5. First Descent can't auto detect the card. It uses wrong IRQ and DMA. Second when I manually enter the right value, it can't play the testing sound, but it can test the music. Has someone experienced the same problem ? Thanks in advance.
