In the spirit of the Steam sale, I'm only looking at my Steam Library, perhaps to help others decide what to buy. Note I haven't checked if these are actually on sale. These are my top 20 Steam Games: 1. Dark Souls 2. Borderlands (Only with DLCs) 3. Borderlands 2 4. Saints Row IV 5. Saints Row the Third 6. Cosmochoria 7. Singularity 8. Mad Max 9. Risk of Rain 10. Rogue Legacy 11. Dark Souls II 12. Gas Guzzlers Extreme 13. The Deadly Tower of Monsters 13. Bit Blaster XL 14. Roundabout 15. Little Racers STREET 16. Crypt of the NecroDancer 17. Nidhogg 18. Superbrothers Sword & Sorery 19. Magica 20. Fallout 4 All the top 11 I'd consider 'must play' games. The other 9 are mostly smaller indy games that are very good. What are your top Steam games? - Justisaur

I probably didn't rank them properly by the end. FO4, BL, and Civ V are spot on for the top three, however. Hundreds of hours of enjoyment. Didn't take a shine to BL2 (drops suck), so I'm definitely not buying the presequel. FO: NV and FO3 get honorable mention, but I put three times the time into FO4. It really hit a sweet spot for me, even though I can't stand settlement building. -- Zag No one ever said on their deathbed, 'Gee, I wish I had spent more time alone with my computer.' ~Dan(i) Bunten

Classic Raven game. There are two (or is it 3?) endings, save right
before the final choice to experience each of them :)

1. X-Com: UFO Defense I have discs for Skyrim which I believe requires Steam but haven't had time to play it so haven't installed it yet. Other than those two I don't have any other Steam linked games. -- Inquiring minds want to know while minds with a self-preservation instinct are running screaming.

X-Com: UFO Defence being an old MS-DOS game running under DOSBox probably doesn't use Steam's copy protection so it's probably not actually Steam linked. It only tracks those things if you start it from Steam client. You can bypass the client completely by just running the program "dosbox.exe" in the game's install directory. It's not copy protected so you can also copy it somewhere else and uninstall the Steam client if you want. -- l/ // Ross Ridge -- The Great HTMU [oo][oo] rri...@csclub.uwaterloo.ca -()-/()/ http://www.csclub.uwaterloo.ca/~rridge/ db //

I'm building a DOSBox and rather than fiddle with my old diskimages I just downloaded the steam version and transferred the game files (sans their DOSBox stuff) to my installation. Runs like a charm, and the game has no idea it originally was associated with my Steam account (not that it did /before/ I did the transfer either ;-). For time played, Steam tracks when you launch the executable through its interface (and when that executable terminates) and calculates the time based on those difference between two deltas. Technically, it could even do this with non-Steam games you've added to your library, although IIRC it doesn't actually display the time for those programs.
