Free Rocket League for the weekend & sale on steam

I saw Rocket League is free trial through Sat. I keep waffling about
buying it, but it's really highly rated. Now I can try it first and
it's on sale if I decide to buy it.

Anyone joining in to give it a try?

Yes. I told others too. I doubt I can play it tonight though.

Well it's over. I'm really glad they gave the free weekend, because I
didn't care for it. I'm not much into sports usually, so I'm not sure
my perspective is off, but it seemed to me driving games are much better
at driving, and that a dedicated sports game would be much better at
sports. I found it highly frustrating. I played about 4 matches, I
seemed to start off with he first one pretty well, but after that it was
just endless missing the ball. The last 2 of the games went into
overtime with no points on either side.

Ya know. I actually enjoyed it. I was more surprised how smooth it ran
on my ancient 64-bit W7 HPE SP1 machine with 6 GB of RAM, ATI Radeon
4870 video card (512 MB of VRAM), etc. Yeah, the game is hard to play
but I still enjoyed it.

I think the appeal is the high skill ceiling mixed with ample
opportunities for fun lucky shots.

Yeah, it was too hard for me.
