Hi everyone, This is my first time on the Usenet, Im sorry this post is not really related to games, but this is the first group I have found that seems to be sill alive and habited by humans who seem reasonable. If you have ever read a book called Exodus by Julie Bertagna, its about a future where the seas have risen and drowned the world and the main character spends her days exploring an abandoned network called cyberwizz where she meets another lone explorer. This feels a little like that on here! If you know of any other groups that are still good Im curious to explore those too. As for games, Iv been playing SimCity 2000 this week, I loaded up the default London city and left to make tea and when I came back it was all on fire... Typical. So Long, Melon

Typical. > The rec.arts.sf.written group is active and several well known sci-fi writers post on a regular or semi-regular basis there. The rec.arts.TV group in my sig is also active. It is focused mostly on American TV (I don't know where in the world you are) but there is also some discussion of British and Australian TV. We also have a tendency to wander off topic there. The regulars there have been talking to each other for a long time and we use the group to socialize. -- Running the rec.arts.TV Channels Watched Survey. Typical. uk.games.video.misc is an active console gaming group. rec.arts.movies.current-films is still active but also pretty horrible. -- -Toby Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters.
