Ho-ho-ho!

I don't think I can top yesterday's song (sung to the tune of "Minnie
the Moocher, which probably would have helped people appreciate it
more. Details, details. ;-). So rather than try, I'll just quietly
throw out another game.

Today's game is:

Outlast
--------
You'll notice that none of the games I am offering this year have a
Christmas theme to them. Outlast /especially/ does not have this
theme. A very spooky survival horror game, its gimmick is that you
view the world through the lens of a video-camera as you traverse the
cursed halls of a rotting mental asylum. Although a bit heavy on the
"find new batteries for the camera" mechanic, the overall game is very
satisfying and definitely not one to be played in the dark... or on
Christmas. So enjoy this game... but enjoy it next month ;-)

Platform: Windows PC
Distributor: Steam
Key: KFLM5-R632L-4T4T9

(The 2016 c.s.i.p.g.a Games Give-Away Advent Calendar is not
responsible for ruined Christmases if you or your family play this
game during the holidays and are turned into a quivering wrecks. Use
as directed.)

I think I'm first here but there's no way I'm redeeming a code for
that scary game. :)

I'll make sure to play it at night to see if it can deliver the scare
factor. :-P

Best game in the list so far. I loved this one, still have to get to
the Whistleblower DLC (which I hear is even better).

Seems that way. The reviews are very good for this one.

Well if you have ever played the Resident Evil Kitchen Demo in VR, I
guess nothing can scare you anymore after that.

Well, I did say I'd try to work up to a crescendo, leaving the better
games for latter in the month. ;-)
