Ho-ho-ho!

It's the first day of the c.s.i.p.g.a. Game's Give-Away. Just like an
advent calendar - where everyday you open the little door and get a
piece of chocolate- here I'm giving away a free game between now and
Christmas. But also like an advent calendar, there's only one goodie
behind each door, so you gotta be fast; it's first-come, first-serve,
and if you aren't quick, somebody else is gonna get the toy (so it's a
lot like when your little brother used to sneak out to get the
chocolate before you even woke up, the little brat!)

We're starting off slow. Today's game is:

Life Is Strange - Episode 1
--------------------------------
The "Life is Strange" game is an episodic adventure title developed by
DontNod Entertainment. Critically and popularly acclaimed, it's a
character- and story-rich tale that follows photography student Maxine
Caulfield, who suddenly discovers she has the ability to rewind time.
Story and character arc serve as the central point in the game rather
than traditional graphic adventure tropes like point-and-click
puzzles, although there are plenty of the latter as well.

The series is five episodes long, but this give-away is only for the
first. Still, it's enough to see if the game is something you might
enjoy and, if you like it, well, you've saved a little money on the
whole game.

Available for: Windows PC
Available through: Steam
Steam Key: QT28V-8WLKX-3NC7J

Happy holidays, and - if you were the swiftest in the bunch - enjoy
the game! If you weren't fast enough, don't worry, there are 23 more
games to go!

Ho-ho-ho!

More like if you weren't fast enough, don't worry, the first episode was
made available for free on all platforms since July. And it still is.

I highly can recommend it, it is a very good game despite the high
school setting.

Actually it was my favorite adventure game for the last two years until
I started to play Arkham VR yesterday... Arkham VR was an eye opener on
how good adventure games can be in VR. And the funny thing is, that
Arkham VR would not even be a very good game in non VR mode.

But this is getting off topic. What I wanted to say is give Life is
Strage an chance, it really deserves it even if you are not into
adventure games.
