https://watchdogs.ubisoft.com/watchdogs/en-us/news/152-263793-16/3-ways-you-can-play-multiplayer-in-watch-dogs-2 "The cat-and-mouse hunt from the original Watch Dogs returns, enabling one player to stealthily drop into another player's game and hack their data, while their target hunts for them and tries to stop the hack. The mode has been tweaked for a more balanced experience, however, and the addition of bomb-dropping drones means that targets have new ways to ferret out where hackers are hiding and new ways to deliver retribution." ..... I guess will likely have to buy this one. The multiplayer 1 on 1 hacking of Watch_Dogs has to be some of the most fun I've ever had in gaming, period. The fun factor was something like the first time I loaded up Doom. There is just something about the cat and mouse chase that is like nothing any other game has been able to achieve. So fun in fact I never got around to playing the single player game! lol If you've played multiplayer modes that were basically about chasing down and killing the guy with the flag, multiplayer hacking in WD1 would sound like that when described to someone who had never played it, but once you actually try it you realize it's so much more. Using the environment to hide from your opponent, watching him at times walk right past you as you blend into the surroundings, seeing if he can detect subtle clues like the fact that the way you parked your car. Then, if he does realize who you are, these EPIC chase scenes that are like GTA on steroids, often ending in a rather intense shootout. If they are able to at least capture everything that made MP hacking in the first one so fun, I'll be pleased. Improving on it, if possible, will be even better.
