I can not get the throttle to work with MW2.  Any ideas?

MechWarrior2 does not support the Gravis Firebird, however, choose a
joystick that most closely resembles the firebird, to see if one will
emulate the other. If not, try a different joystick or use your assigned
keyboard strokes.

I wrote a email to Activision about this, but did not get any response till
now. The mail was sent some two or three weeks ago.

You can use the Flightstick Pro in the custom settings (just don't
allocate anything to the hat).  Works brilliantly!
