The microprose ftp site is now on line and functional.
the ftp address is: ftp.microprose.com
and you will find all their upgrade patches and demos there 
(including the patches for GS2000).

This is to Steve Zacher, Microprose does not have a web page anymore at: http://www.microprose.com anymore, I don't know where it is or if they have one but if they and you find out where it is would you please leave me a message telling where is.

It appears they have a patch 8.5 for it:

I'd guess that in the 22 years since he asked, Steve has figured all
this out for himself ;-)

Gunship 2000... now there's a game I didn't think to add to my DOSBox
installation. I actually preferred LHX at the time, but have some fond
remembrances of flying my apache through a railroad tunnel ;-)
