Epic MegaGames has released Tyrian. It is currently available on ftp.epicgames.com and should be available on ftp.uml.edu within a day or so.

With all due respect you're spreading total lies here! These are original programs posted directly by us to our own private web sites. They are NOT virus infected in any way. Please stop spreading libellous rumours like this! Mark Rein, Epic MegaGames. Check out the Epic Web Site at http://www.epicgames.com

Really? Funny... I've had the game since the first day it came out, and played it quite a bit. And since I'm typing on my terminal right now, I think it's quite fine. I scan everything I get from the net, and McAfee Scan says Tyrian's A-OK. Quit listening to rumors like that. If the game really did have a virus, we'd have tons of people complaining and yelling at Epic for it. Jeff -- .sig? I don't need no stinkin' .sig!
