Well, I'd say it's definitely worth buying, despite a minor bug or two.

If you have access to WWW two excellent reviews of the game are at:
http://wcl-rs.bham.ac.uk/gdreview/reviews/pc/sept/mech2.html
and
 " " " " " /august/mech2rev.html

You also might want to check out the (unofficial?) FAQ, which as I recall is
written by Will Day.

Hope this helps.

*Hell* yes, especially if you have a P133

I second that. MWII is the best simulation game I have played on a PC.
If you are a Mechhead, go buy it. If you have a 133, go buy it. If you
like action games, go buy it. It crushes everything else that is similar.
It's not like Doom or Descent because the tactics are so different;
compare it more to games like Earthsiege, which is a good game in its
own right (I loaded it up recently again; it is very similar driving
style to MWII, but it is less flexible in a number of ways; still
excellent). Really, especially if you have a 133, go out and buy MWII,
it is absolute coolness.

Arrgghh. Your opininon blows. The graphics are nice, but what catches me, is
the incredible amount of THINKING you have to invest, to solve missions.

What Mech ? What Weapons ? How do I get to my target ?

It's the involved strategy and tactic that makes this game great. And its
fun !!!

Can't wait for the full eight player networking ...
