Has anyone besides me played the Cybermage demo (available at http://www.ea.com/origin.html.)? I am asking because I am running it on SVGA mode with high-res characters and max screen size on my Pentium120 with 16 MB EDO RAM, 256 KB Pipeburst cache, and #9 FX Motion 771 2MB VRAM card, and it is a little choppy in the framerate (I'd guess around 10 fps). Anyone else with a fast system think that their framerate is too low, or am I just being greedy with the detail settings. If you can get it to run smoothly maxed out, do you think it could be my hardware? Albert Ihochi

I have a Micron P120, 16 megs EDO, 256k Syncburst cache, and a Diamond Stealth 64 Video VRAM card. I assume your running in 640 x 480. It does get choppy in full screen especially in the temple and where there's alot of background activity. In this case I reduce the screen size one click and I can live with it. It's not your machine. I hope that Origin tightens the code before it hits the shelves. Besides that, I love this game. It's one of the best I've played all year and I think that the commercial version will be much better, due to the addition of a plot and a more complex environment. I've had it crash on me several times, have you? T. R. Fabrizzi
