Aliens-TC for Doom 2, Where?

Is there a version of Aliens-TC that works with Doom 2? I found a
bunch of stuff on ftp.cdrom.com under the doom2 directories but it only
seems to work with Doom. As a matter of fact the stuff under the doom2
directory for aliens matches the stuff under the doom directory.(?)

Thanks,
joe

1) As far as I know, Aliens TC for Doom II is still being worked on and
is not yet released. There is suppossedly an early version on AOL that
only works with the 1.666 version of Doom II.

2) Some of the subdirectories in cdrom.com's Doom section are common
directories for Doom/DoomII/Heretic stuff (like /themes or /newstuff).
The higher directories for each game will all point to these common
directories. The only way to tell which game the bianary files in the
common directories are meant for is to read their accompanying txt files.

Yes there are ports of the doom 1 version of Aliens-TC to doom II, but these
were not done by Justin Fisher(as far as I know). The one I've played with
is ATC2JF.ZIP off of compuserve. You won't find an official version
of ATC2 on
ftp.cdrom.com.

It's known that Justin and Oliver(author of Wintex) are writing a
specific port
of Aliens-TC for Doom II with enhancements to the doom II platform.
I don't know
when it'll be out.

Hope this helps,

Monti
