Hey, I realize this is probably a very dated question, but:

I do not own a CD rom drive, and consequently cannot upgrade to the '96
version. I want to keep playing my '95 version, but I have one very
annoying problem/complaint, which is that the rosters for the preseason
draft stink. More specifically, the number and quality of players is
ridiculously low, and not all positions are available. Is there a patch
available that will increase the number/quality of players available for
the draft? My LB retires, no LBs listed to draft, so I have to lose
another veteran player in a trade just to get *any* LB... How does one get
around this?

Yes, there is a patch from v 1.00 (most likely the one you have) to 1.03, 
which does increase the number of players in the draft (dramatically, 
according to the patch literature).  It's available at ftp.cdrom.com, 
among other places.
