I watch TV, read magazines and read Usenet group's, and I SURE as hell did NOT see any announcement that WIN95 is dead. I think you OS/2 folk's need to realize that OS/2 is not the "ALL WONDERFUL" OS. In fact OS/2 is often a bitch to install, supported driver's for soundcard's, and cd drive's/printer's is pathetic, and MOST dos games dont even work under OS/2, you often end up booting DOS anyways to play them. Sure if your lucky you can get a driver for your hardware off the internet, otherwise your proably up a creek without a paddle. Now if you take a look at the supported driver's for WIN95, that's a different story. On the Microsoft WWW page I got a helpfile(910k) which LISTS all the driver's for video/sound/cdrom's/multimedi/modem's/printer's is VERY good. Now why IBM can't have the same great driver support for hardware, I dont know. Perhaps IBM should take lessons from Microsoft on "How to better support printers/soundcard's/modem's/video card's/display's etc etc". OS/2 I think, is only good if your going to run nothing but the few OS/2 app's, and perhaps some of the WINDOWS apps that you hope run under OS/2. Ttul
