Hi.. Ive just got First Encounters. I dunno what everyone is bitching about, to me its one of the most impressive games ever written, just like Elite was 10 years ago. Anyway, my problem is right at the beginning on planet Hope. All the papers talk about the space race from Old Curie to Ghandi starting midnight on Jan 1st, which is where you start the game. I fly to Old Curie but it wont let me land all day, despite the papers saying 'come one come all' blah blah.. has anyone been able to take part in the race? let alone win it?? can you dock at curie? do you need to? help!!! Please email or post a reply, be MOST grateful.. Adrian 072...@edna.cc.swin.edu.au
