HELL - haven't you all played Giana Sisters or Turrican on Amiga???
50 fps is a HUGE difference to 9-10 fps.
My framerate is 12-15 fps. This is far from perfect (35 fps minimum,
70 would be perfect for the 320x200 VESA mode), and I can't play with
this. NO_DELAY doesn't improve frame-rate, it only makes the game
itself faster (and more unplayable at that framerate).
Side note: My system is an ASUS P55TP4XE / Pentium 100 / ET4000W32p
system. I am absolutely sure that performance of my system is _not_
the problem.

Countless Apogee jnr's and several commercial attempts by other
companies.
Look at Superfrog! This is an example for PERFECT SILK SMOOTH
scrolling! (though it doesn't work on my ET4000W32p)
